Us keto dieters have to be a little more creative and that’s why I know you’ll love this keto cucumber sandwich lunch idea!
Now don’t be fooled by the “sandwich” label, there’s absolutely no bread involved! In fact, the “bread” of your sandwich is going to be cucumber slices.

Keto Sandwich: Cucumber, Cream Cheese & Turkey
Now let’s talk a little bit about what’s inside these keto sandwiches!
The other two main ingredients (besides cucumbers of course) are cream cheese and turkey.
Cream cheese and cucumbers are so refreshing together. In fact, one of my favorite keto snacks is cucumber slices and cream cheese.
To make these sandwiches more filling they are packed with turkey lunch meat. You can use any type of turkey lunch meat or deli slices.
By the way for lunch I usually have around five or six of these little sandwiches, then I pair them with a side of berries or a handful of nuts.
This is usually pretty satisfying for me but do what works best for you.
Keto Lunch Variations
Now if you like the idea of using sliced cucumbers as “bread”, but don’t care for cream cheese or turkey, just make some substitutions.
You could use just about any keto-friendly lunch meat or a different type of cheese.
Keto Cucumber Sandwich
If you’re tired of the same old keto lunches, these keto cucumber sandwiches will not disappoint you!
You can make these in 2 minutes and they only have 1 carb per sandwich, making them a smart and satisfying choice for lunch.
Keto Cucumber Sandwiches
- 1/2 tbsp Cream Cheese
- 2 Cucumber Slices
- 1/2 Turkey Lunch Meat Slice
- Wash and pat dry your cucumber. Cut your cucumber in about ¼" slices. This doesn't have to be exact.
- Spread cream cheese onto your cucumber slice. It is a little hard to spread, so use your knife to press down the cream cheese, this will help the cream cheese stick to the cucumber.
- Add your turkey meat on top of the cream cheese.
- Take another cucumber slice and put it on top of your turkey making a sandwich.
Keto Sandwich Recipe Seasoning
This is totally optional, but you can add some seasoning of your choice to the cream cheese layer. A little sprinkle of onion or garlic powder is quite tasty.
My favorite seasoning I add to these sandwiches is Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend that I purchased from Trader Joe’s.
The ingredients of this seasoning are sesame seeds, sea salt flakes, dry minced garlic, dried minced onion, black sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.
This seasoning is my favorite to put on a ton of things, but it especially goes well with cream cheese.
If you have Trader Joe’s in your area, I highly recommend this seasoning, it’s so good. I love it on my morning eggs!
If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s grocery store in your area, you could always just make your own seasoning. This recipe looks pretty close to the real thing.
