Candy Corn Sugar Cookies
This candy corn cookie recipe is an amazing (non-spooky) Halloween dessert that is guaranteed to be a huge hit for everyone!
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup white sugar (granulated)
- 2 eggs
- 2½ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup candy corns
In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, vanilla extract and eggs until smoot and fluffy.
Then, stir in flour, baking powder and baking soda ito the butter mixture.
Make sure you stir eveything together until it is perfectly combined and smooth.You should have a non sticky dough. If you find it is too sticky, addan additional ¼ cup of flour.
Roll into balls and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 325° for 15 minutes or until the tops of the cookies crack.
Remove from the oven and while the cookies are still hot press 2-3 candy corns into the tops of the cookies. You can always press in more candy corns if you'd like as well.
