Ingredients
16mini frozen waffles (or homemade)
1cupsliced strawberries
8blueberries
½cupwhipped cream
8toothpicks
Instructions
Slice strawberries and set aside.
Toast mini waffles and transfer them to a plate.
On one side of the waffle place a dollop of whipped cream and a couple of strawberry slices.
Place another waffle on top making a sandwich.
Stick a toothpick into the sandwich to secure it together and garnish with a blueberry.

Waffle TypesThis recipe calls for frozen waffles but you can use homemade waffles if you prefer. They just won't be as fast to make. Other Fruit Variations This recipe would work with a variety of fruit, not just strawberries and blueberries.You could substitute the strawberries and blueberries for crushed pineapple, kiwi, banana slices, other types of berries, or your favorite fruit.
