Servings 1 board

Ingredients

  • zucchini stem
  • 1 cup cherries
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices salami
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/3 fresh dill bunch
  • 9-10 pickled chili peppers
  • 2.5-3 ounces  crackers about 12-16 pieces
  • 1 ounce pretzels
  • 2/3 cup mixed nuts

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the cucumber, then peel it and slice it into thin rounds.
  • Fold each salami slice in half. Take two folded slices and roll them together so they overlap a little, then gently fold the edges to form a rose-like curl. Repeat with the rest.
  • Slice a block of cheddar into thin pieces, trimming the edges if needed to make a curved shape. Layer the slices to look like a pumpkin, slightly overlapping each one.
  • Cut a small piece from the stem end of a zucchini to use as the pumpkin stem, and place it at the top of the cheddar slices.
  • Add the cherries to one side of the board. Arrange the salami roses and cucumbers on the other side.
  • Place the pickled peppers at the bottom. Fill in the gaps with crackers, pretzels, and nuts. Tuck in some fresh dill around the cheese pumpkin for garnish.
