Tater Tot Casserole with Ground Beef
This tater tot casserole combines creamy soup, vegetables, and melted cheese topped with golden tater tots for an easy, comforting weeknight meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ yellow onion dices
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups frozen peas and carrots slightly thawed
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 lbs frozen tater tots
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish
Dice the onion.
Cook the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking the meat apart as it cooks, until no longer pink. Drain any grease.
Mix the seasonings into the meat.
Add the cream of mushroom, carrots, and peas. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into the casserole dish.
Sprinkle the cheese over the top.
Arrange tater tots to cover the top in an even layer.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
