Pretty DIY Halloween Decor Ideas With Farmhouse Style
This DIY Halloween decor idea has some farmhouse style that Joanna Gaines would totally love! Watching way too many seasons of Fixer Upper (my guilty pleasure) inspired me to make some Halloween decorations with some farmhouse flair.
This arrangement is so sweet, it’s just three black hydrangea stems. You could stick with all black or add any festive colors you’d like as well. At first I wasn’t sure about all black, but the plaid ribbon adds some color to this arrangement. What other time of year would you be able to use black hydrangeas?
You can find these hydrangeas at Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, or your local craft store. I scored these on sale, but both Hobby Lobby and Michael’s usually have a coupon available online that you can print out with you or show them on your phone.
The hydrangeas look very cute in this mason jar, which adds to the farmhouse theme. I finished off the jar by tying a piece of cute plaid ribbon in Halloween colors around it.
DIY Halloween Decor
We all know that Joanna loves adding in old books as props when decorating her homes. I found this old book at an antique store and best of all, it is orange for Halloween! To finish off this do it yourself halloween decorations, just add some glitter pumpkins!
The orange and black glitter pumpkins were purchased at the dollar store (cheap score) and the silver glitter pumpkin is from Pottery Barn last year (bought on sale).
You could also make your own glitter pumpkins if you’d like. Check out my glitter pumpkin tutorial if you want to make your own!
So there you go, a very easy, but lovely DIY Halloween decoration. Let me know how you liked it below! Happy Halloween!
