Christmas centerpieces are a great way to add a little bit of holiday cheer to your home! This DIY Christmas decor idea from the Dollar Store is not only super cheap to make (under $10), but easy as well!
The red and gold ornaments go perfectly with the gold glitter pinecone and berry stems. When making your own arrangement, you, of course, should go with any color scheme you’d like.
Easy Table Christmas Centerpiece Decorations
Sometimes simple is better, especially when it comes to centerpieces. This holiday arrangement only consists of a glass vase, inexpensive ornaments, and pinecone stems.
No wire or foam to place at the bottom of the vase. This is easy peasy to put together!
Cheap DIY Christmas Decor Idea
This Christmas arrangement would look great on the table or anywhere else you want to add a festive touch to your home!
Winter Party Centerpieces
If you’re hosting a holiday party or winter themed baby or wedding shower, these would be wonderful centerpieces as well because they are cute and inexpensive!
Tealight candles around this arrangement would be quite stunning because the light would reflect off the ornaments.
Dollar Store Centerpiece Supplies:
- Glass Vase
- Ball Ornaments: Small Size (These came in a tube & I used two packs.)
- Pinecone & Berry Glitter Stems (Used four stems)
How do you make a Christmas Centerpiece?
First, grab your vase and place your ornaments inside. I filled up my vase a little more than halfway with ornaments, but you could do a little more or less.
It doesn’t matter too much.
Before I ever place any stems into an arrangement, I always like to fluff them up a bit. You’d be surprised how much better the stems look once you spread them out a bit.
I always like to place my side stems first, then go in and place the front and back stems. Always try to place the back stem a little higher so it doesn’t get lost.
Play around with your floral arrangement until you get it how you like it. Make sure there aren’t any huge “holes” in your arrangement.
If so, fluff up some of your stems to cover it.
Last Note About Homemade Holiday Arrangements
There are no right or wrong ways of making arrangements. Choose the color scheme you love and then go to town and have fun!
Don’t be too rigid in what you imagine your Christmas centerpiece to look like, it may come out completely different.
But that’s okay!
Sometimes beautiful things happen when you create them organically without a plan.
Hope you got some inspiration to go out and make your own arrangement! Merry Christmas!
